Great Song Farm is a diverse community farm managed using organic and environmentally sustainable practices. We are located on Milan Hill Rd., just 10 minutes from the center of Red Hook and Rhinebeck. Our farm is on 90 acres of land leased through a generous agricultural easement, with 1.5 acres in vegetable and flower cultivation in 2019 and the rest comprised of cedar and hardwood forest, wetlands, and rolling green pastures.
Our Farm Vision
Community and relationships are the foundation of Great Song Farm. We strive to foster a healthy and vibrant community where people can form direct and meaningful connections to nature, agriculture, and each other, on a small diverse farm.
We work to balance the needs of eaters and farmers while providing the utmost care and attention to the soil, the plants, and the ecosystem that we are a part of. We envision a just, accessible, and transparent food system that is economically viable and fulfilling for both farmers and their communities.
We endeavor to act as responsible and conscientious stewards of our common watershed, wild flora and fauna and other natural resources, which are vitally important to sustaining Mother Earth.
